Bangladesh gallery wins legal battle to reopen

Protestors form a human chain image courtesy of Wahid Adnan/DrikNEWS/Majority World A photo gallery in [[Bangladesh]], closed by the authorities because of a controversial exhibition about alleged killings by the country’s Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), has won its legal battle to open. Government lawyers have confirmed that the police deployed outside the Drik Picture Library have been withdrawn and that there would be no obstruction to the exhibition from now on.

Bangladesh photojournalist issued with death threats

His controversial investigative photojournalism exhibition, Crossfire, about alleged actions by the country's Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), was closed by the authorities last week.
