World Press Freedom Day Debate - 2007/05/01 20:56
3 May is World Press Freedom Day. It is being marked in the UK with a debate at Westminster organised by UK UNESCO. Among those speaking on the motion ‘World Media Freedom is in Retreat" will be Russian campaigning journalists Tatiana Lokshina and Oleg Panfilov, who will talk about the increasing threats to media freedom they and their colleagues are facing. The debate begins at 10 and ends at 12.
