The BBC World Service Trust is seeking a Director of Finance and Business Services who will be directly responsible for managing the finance, legal and IT functions in London and, through country heads, the management of locally-recruited finance staff.
The director will maintain the financial integrity of the Trust’s global operations and, as the primary source of expertise, be responsible for shaping the contractual relationship with all donors and ensuring that the Trust meets its legal and financial responsibilities worldwide.
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant with considerable financial management or commercial experience at a senior level, with highly developed negotiating and influencing skills and experience of working in an international environment.
